Most of the major airlines fly into San Diego International Airport, commonly called Lindbergh Field, near downtown San Diego. If you enjoy riding the rails, Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner travels to San Diego from Los Angeles and other major cities on Amtrak routes. The majority of San Diego visitors drive in on I-5 from Los Angeles — just 90 minutes north — and northern California, I-15 from Las Vegas, and I-8 from Phoenix. |
